Rondo is the exact same size as last year. Exact. Where is that mysterious 12lbs of muscle and the improved shot?

KG isn't "running around like he's 17"... he looks like he is dragging that leg behind him and he is scared to jump.

The Celtics hype machine is at it again.

I know it was game 1 of preseason but don't we look old and slow? Are we strictly a jumpshooting team?

Eddie House looked good, and Perkins looked like he lost 72 lbs.

I thought Rondo looked a little bit bigger, and based on the video of KG running around last week limping I was happy to see him moving around as well as he was.  But I do agree I think they were both exagerations coming out of the Celts
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Rondo is definitely at least 10 lbs heavier.  He doesn't look anorexic with clothes hanger shoulders anymore.  I hope he doesn't continue to gain weight.  He looked like an absolute monster compared to Brooks.
As for KG, yeah, thats ridiculous.  He was running around like he's in his 40's.

All salute Captain Optimism this morning!!!  Seriously though Rondo certainly looks bigger.  KG looks fine at this stage of his rehab.  What exactly were you looking for in PRESEASON game one?

As Tim Hardaway once said after choking as the #1 seed against NYK in 1999: "Go home, sit down, grab yourself a nice bottle of Grand Marnier and chill the FU** OUT!!!"

2009 Playoffs:

Last night:

I think 12 pounds is exaggerated but he definitely benefited from a clean off-season bulk.

Look at his right arm in these two pictures... His shoulder, bicep and tricep are clearly more defined and bulkier.

I would guess he put 5 - 7 pounds of muscle on.

rondo looks a little bigger in the arms and shoulder area.  however, he looks alot more "cut".  muscle weighs 3x more than fat.

Well, technically, it is impossible for muscle to "weigh" more than fat, the correct characterization is that muscle is denser than fat.

Kind of like the joke of which will hit the ground first if dropped from the top of a building, 1 ton of feathers, or 1 ton of rocks.  The answer of course is that they will hit at the same time.  Although it may take a heck of a lot more feathers to equal 1 ton than it will rocks, if they weigh the same, they will fall at the same rate.

::) We all knew what DL meant and the picture backed him up  ;)

I hear you though, "what weighs more a ton of feathers or a ton of bricks" :D
