*In 2004 The LA Lakers traded their 2006 first round pick, along with Gary Payton, and Rick Fox to the Boston Celtics. LA would receive Chucky Atkins, Jumaine Jones and Chris Mihm.
*In 2005 Boston sent this unhatched Rondo along with Tom Gugliotta, Gary Payton and Michael Stewart on a mission to Atlanta. This mission was to revive the fallen star Antoine Walker.
*Later in 2006 The Atlanta Hawks traded the delicate RR, along with Boris Diaw and a 1st round draft pick in the 2008 draft to Phoenix. This is the trade that moved future All-Star and former Celtic Joe Johnson.
*On draft day 2006 The Suns shipped Brian Grant and The Los Angeles Lakers' 2006 first round pick to Boston. The Suns got Cleveland's 2007 first round pick. (Which we aquired in exchange for Jiri Welch)
*Rajon Rondo is drafted by the Celtics VIA The Suns VIA The Hawks VIA The Celtics VIA The Lakers.

Isn't it funny that in an attempt to get back to their championship form, The Lakers would ship away a future pick and their starting PG, only to get Chris Mihm and two players that are now out of the league? Then to top it off... the first rounder ended up being the player that would lead their most hated rival back to the top of the NBA, defeating them in the process.
What i also find funny is that the pick that would be RR, was twice packaged with Gary Payton in attempts to get younger and clear salary space. One of the times he was immediately released and sent back. Maybe this is why GP hates on Rondo so much...
