I hope he doesn't hurt himself favoring his knee.

After watching that footage, I don't know what to think. He definitely was favoring the knee, but maybe that is just part of the reahbilitation and getting back to normal. He clearly did not look like he was in any pain, however.

It looks like he's still a bit slow changing directions and accelerating.  It clearly isn't 100%.  But then, that's no different than what he told us - it's about 85 percent right now.

I wouldn't be worried - at least not anymore than I already was.

if he' not 100% just yet, i wouldn't be opposed to seeing KG play limited minutes off the bench for the beginning of the season, just to get back to true form. Let Sheed start the first few games of the season and play major minutes to get acclimated with our system.

KG's gonna be fine, a lot of the battle is mental moreso than physical i am willing to bet.

That's the clip they played a few days ago on Sports Tonight.  I was wondering the same thing when I saw it, he might not be confident running quite yet.  I'm interested to see tomorrow the Real Training Camp to see how he is going up and down the floor.

Doc said he wasn't going to have any restrictions in the camp and that he was going to play decent minutes in the preseason, so that would make me think he should be fine.

We will see.

I don't really know if i'd call that limping. clearly he still has a hitch in his stride, but he mentioned the other day that he can't push off it at full power yet, do to it still being a bit sore. He is clearly favoring it of course.

To me, you can't "limp" while jogging and doing full drills. Limping requires you to pull up. And as other's have said, it doesn't appear to put him in any pain, since he never stops the drill, and finishes it strong.

Doc said in his recent video that they stopped for a while and KG got stiff.

It looks like limping to me, but considering that he is just now getting back to full action, is this really a shock?  He's going to get stiff for a while because his body is behind everyone else's in terms of going full speed.  The things he did this summer were as hard as he could go I'm sure, but not at this level.  Now he's in there with guys who are in tip top shape.  It's going to take a month or so before that changes IMO.

Well i dont know what to make out of this. He is favoring his knee alot. I've had surgeries and procedures on my knee so I know how much it must hurt. It looks like he's dragging his right leg around. I think the 85% he stated is more likely around 60%.

I'm ALLLL for him easing his way back into form, and hope the medical staff will allow him to. However, a 85%(at start of season)KG is better than most other PFs at 100%. We'll ALL see tomorrow.

I agree with both of your points. I mean, I wonder if he can still dunk...but, I would still take him on my team, even at this point, but it may be a good idea to give Rasheed some extra minutes in the first few games. At least he can run, but I really hope he continues to improve.
