Boston takes Ellis, Jackson & Wright
GS takes Ray Allen, Tony Allen, Walker, Scal & Erden

It works on the trade checker and it's not totally crazy (Ellis and Jackson asked for a trade to a contender, GS takes all expirings contracts that for me it's what they need to start to rebuild); maybe it's too much for Boston and Golden State would not accept the trade.

What do you think?

On the talent end I think Golden State would want more than a guy on his last legs and some scraps for such excellent young players.

That could very well kill our team chemistry.

If Ellis can't ne on the floor with Curry then I highly doubt he can be on the floor with Rondo and his attitude,,,,,,,If that's what you want to call it, ego maybe?

For the record I am not talking down Rondo.

Is it weird that I'm quickly finding it hard to imagine a Celtics team without Ray Allen? Even more so than Garnett.

I love Ray on our team, but if this trade become an option, Ainge would be dumb not to pull the trigger. 2 reasons.

1.) Ray is still a great player, and there's a chance we won't be able to afford him next year(doubt it, but possible)

2.) Even though 2 of those contracts are huge, Ellis is a very young stud and could be whipped into maturity. And Jackson fills a hole for us and his contract isn't that bad when he could be our starter then.

The other idea is that they make the trade, and Ray agrees to a buyout right away. That would save GS 20+ million over 4 years, and puts them in the market for the free agent frenzied summer of 2010. It also allows us to put our Big 3 back together.

Rondo, Ellis, House           or         Rondo, House, Hudson
Ray, Jackson                  or         Jackson, Ellis
Pierce, Daniels               or         Pierce, Daniels
KG, BBD, Wright               or         KG, BBD, Wright
Perk, Sheed, Sheldon          or         Perk, Sheed, Sheldon
Can't stop, Rondo!

I am torn on this trade idea. On one hand I would love to see Stephen Jackson here in Boston (would love it even more if all it took was Scal and T.A.)

However, I don't know that I'd want to give up Ray to land Jackson. The one intagible that Ray brings is wisdom and veteran leadership. I don't know that Jackson brings that.

I love Ray, but I also wouldn't complain if this trade ever happened.

Dreaming if you think Jackson can play the 2.

I actually see Golden State being a nice team, if they can play defense, but that's asking a lot.
