I was at a key point in my career transition and needed to shed whatever distractions I could to concentrate on handling it all.  It was something I'd been thinking about doing for a while.  I actually went to the extent of banning myself for 28 days to force me to stay away.  I've been lurking a bit more lately, but was unable to post.

Anyhow...I still need to be a hell of a lot less compulsive about this site, but I'll be back around in time for the season.
