Training camp signings

Shamsports comments on the players signed or invited to training camps around the league. Luther Head to Indiana and Ime Udoka in Portland are some of the interesting names out there:

"Some camp signings: Mike Wilks to Atlanta, Kurt Looby and Keith Brumbaugh to Denver, Morris Almond & Linton Johnson to Orlando, Macy O'Baston to Detroit, Curtis Jerrells to Spurs, Sun Yue/Gabe Pruitt/Warren Carter to New York, Diamon Simpson and Shaun Pruitt to Golden State

Luther Head to Indiana, Mario West and Othello Hunter to return to Atlanta, Juwan Howard and Ime Udoka to Portland, Brian Skinner and Steve Novak back to the Clippers.

Also, Dickau to Boston, Kurz to Cleveland, J.R. Rider maybe to the Nets, Garrett Siler maybe to the Timberwolves."

I would prefer to see Udoka in Boston, instead of Dickau but I guess Danny doesn't have a crush on Ime.

Where would Skinner fit in?  We've got plenty of 4/5 types now (we're six-deep already if you count Scal in the rotation).  If we're thinking about an end-of-pine kind of big man, I'd rather take a chance on someone younger with some upside, see maybe if Swiftie's in better shape now than he was in Summer League.  Skinner, you pretty much know what you're getting, there's no potential for upside there, and I don't see him being good enough at this stage of his career to offer us anything.

I'd love to see Udoka, and he'd have a chance here to get some minutes behind Pierce.
