Add me to the very few ... I'd stay with Rondo without question. I'm really a bit tired of the lack of consistency and loyalty within teams these days, and the "made-or-trade" mentality. Wade is without question one of the greatest players alive, but when rebuilding a "Dynasty", you have to give more consideration to the future ... and I gurantee you that Rage will be one of the elite point guards for the next generation in the NBA ... and frankly, I don't want to pull another Chauncy Billups faux-pas. Let's try and hang on to the core we have and keep ramping it up for the years to come ... D-Wade is amazing, but he won't be around for another 10 or 15 like Rondo will. By the way, this is my first post in like 2 years ... I really missed you guys! (Maybe I'll go un-noticed, hehe).

Good to see you back!

I gotta disagree with you, though.  Rondo still needs to improve to be one of the three best PGs in the league (which he *can* be, but he's not there yet).  Wade's already one of the three best players.  He's also only 27; there's no reason he can't be an elite player for another six or seven years.  The only question - the *only* question is if he's fully healthy; if you answer that affirmatively, I don't think there's a single person outside of Celtics message boards that wouldn't trade Rondo for D-Wade straight-up (ignoring the finances).  He's a legit candidate now for MVP; the only players that you WOULDN'T trade staight-up for him are probably LeBron and Kobe.

I doubt there are many GM's in the league who would trade Howard for DWade straight up! DWade is a great player, there's no doubting that. I am not sure I would rank him 3rd best in the league but maybe. I have to defend Rondo though, not just based on what he's done but projecting his expected growth. I mean, the guy darn near average a triple double through two rounds of the playoffs. He did that while not being able to shoot. It just makes me think he can improve on that a lot if he gets his jumper down better, and he will.

I mean the guy above you, who said that he'll gave half of our fantastic roster for James, let me tell you something: "If something work, don't brake it" LeCrab can't win, but we can, and he'll trade this for someone who can't => dumb as hell

Michael Jordan didnt win his first title until he was 28 years old.  Since apparently we're all dumb as hell, why dont you explain to us why you wouldnt trade for Michael Jordan at the age of 25 since he was clearly a loser.

Everyone deserves an opinion, if you dont like it then thats fine but dont start calling people stupid when your logic is 5 times as bad.
