Maybe, we'll see.  I'm convinced people come to see a winning team, not individual players.  The signing was a no-brainer from Memphis' perspective, but I'm not convinced they'll be any more fannies in the seats unless the team itself is more competitive.

Oh surely, I wasn't really commenting on your attendance views... I was merely commenting on your assesment of how Iverson is seen by the fans. I think attendance will suck indeed, but I think they will improve without a doubt with Iverson there. Even if attendance doesn't go up, I think his jersey will sell very well.

And I think Iverson will help that team win. We'll see.

I brought this up in another thread, but I'll repeat it here: Chris Wallace strikes again! We've decided that he's not being a GM to win the games; he's being a GM to make the owners money. Herm Edwards wouldn't approve.
