From Moore's press conference with the Warriors:

"My role is to kind of mold some of the younger guys into being defensive-minded," said the 33-year-old 7-footer.

"I'm coming into this thing, trying to bring something to the table that the Warriors haven't had," Moore said. "I want to bring that defensive edge. ...

Now, unless "defense" equals "committing a lot of sloppy, useless fouls and being slow to adjust", I'm not sure Mikki is being completely truthful with the good folks out in Golden State.

Notice he said "defensive-minded" - nothing about execution. Maybe he did learn a thing or two about defense from being with the Celtics.. but just can't implement anything except for sloppy fouls and late rotations.

Wait... The Warriors had a press conference for Mikkie Moore?

They're the Warriors.. What else do they have to look forward to? Mikki picking his number is probably the most exciting thing that will happen all season.

lol that made me laugh. I actually liked Mikki in his time here, wasn't the best player but was a pretty nice guy...really clumzy though.

He got signed by the Golden State Warriors.....The closest thing to Don Nelson's teams in the defensive embarassment category was the pre-Thibodeau Rivers teams.  Moore would have been a step up defensively on those teams, too.

Everything's relative.
