Rasheed Wallace? When was the last time he was even good? Or even posted up lol? He is a broke down 6'11 three point specialist that has gotten destroyed by the Cavs the last two series they played.
Well Shaq couldn't even lead his team to the playoffs last year. The point is players don't look nearly as good when their on a losing team. I think we also all admit that rasheed quit on his team last year along with alot of the pistons.

You also are ignoring the fact that we took the magic to seven (you guys lost in 6) without our best player.

He has averaged about 12 and 7 for the last 3 seasons, and remains one of the best defensive big men in the game.  Not a bad 6th man.  Remember, he is not replacing KG and Perkins, he is being added to them.

I remember him getting destroyed by Varejao and Joe Smith in the playoffs. And do you want to see how good of job he did guarding Shaq last season? I've got the boxscore if you want to see it. Pick your poison with the Cavs. Get killed by Lebron, Shaq, or one of the shooters. By the way, can you guys take Delonte back? That guy doesn't belong on the team. What a clown

When he signs with another team and it becomes the Lebron/Other team blinded love!!

He is the best player to ever play the game. He could play for the Jazz and still get attention around the world.
Holy Hyperbole!!! Best ever huh?

Bird
Magic
Jordan
Robertson
Chamberlain
Jabbar
Russell
West
Barry
Kobe
Shaq
Olajuwan

He's not even in my top 10 yet!!!!

It's just something your always going to have to accept just like in the 80's when it was all Bird and Magic imagine if you lived in Detroit during those times.

An "expert opinion" on the subject of sports is still just an opinion. I don't care that the mainstream media does not favor the Celtics. LeBron and Kobe are the flagship players of the NBA just like Tiger is for golf it may not seem fair but it markets the network and it markets the sport. Too much LeBron is a good thing because then people start to hate him and they want to see him lose. It's something we have to live with.

There are things I take issue with in the mainstream sports media. It's Russel STILL not getting enough credit. Boston writers finding new and creative ways to turn fans against players. Finally Sportscenter is moving too far away from highlights GET RID OF THE TALKING HEADS. I am tired of cookie cutter answers.

Perkins can't even stay out of foul trouble guarding Big Z. He will have 3 fouls easily before halftime trying to guard Shaq or playing help defense on Lebron when he blows by Pierce.

Shaq will be covered by Perk and Davis, both of whom have been about as effective as anyone in the league against Shaq.

As for the playoffs last season...well, Wallace quit, just like the rest of his team did.  Now, if you want to argue that he is not going to help the C's because he is a quitter...ok, you may have a point then.  Although I have seen enough of him doing this to feel confident that he will not quit on the C's.

We're deepest at the center and power forward positions, we have 5 solid dependeble big men (good riddence mikki) who can step in if one of our guys gets into foul trouble.

Also not that im going to say lebron will blow past pierce, but thats what we have KG for. Thats who you'll see on help defense.
Thats why its kinda good to have the best defender in the league.

Thats fine. KG is a great player. But in a Cleveland/Boston series, the Cavs are going to have someone open pretty much everytime.
