I think they need to rename the poll, or explain it a little better.  They make it sound like they are listing the players who will hurt the team the most, but when you read the breakdowns, a lot of them are on there just because they think they won't help the team as much as the team hopes.  There is a difference there.

Considering most of the top 5 in the worst newcomers are also in the top 5 of the best newcomers, this clearly was not done by an expert on polls.

I can understand concerns that it won't work out, but I've got to think that there are bigger question marks among other acquisitions.

I mean, we didn't give up anything to sign him.  Just money.  For, say, Vince Carter, the Magic gave up Courtney Lee and let Hedo Turkuglu walk.  I think there's more risk there, for a guy with career attitude problems and a losing attitude.

Wouldnt you think when a guy like Zach Randolph gets this much negative press he may do something about it and try to straighten up?  Or do you think he just doesnt care?

He doesn't care in the slightest.

I saw this ranking on ESPN and found it awful. I'm glad we're overdogs once again because that's when we are at our best.

HAHA anybody else see Paul Westphal at the bottom. That was kinda funny.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Exactly. And he won't start caring if he's benched. He'll only start caring if he's not getting paid.

  • Law mercy!

We just added Sheed to KG.  So many other teams lost good players as pointed out above to get what they now have.  Even the Fakers with Ariza. Yeah, they got Artest, but lost a starter on a championship team.

That's not totally true. We weren't able to retain Mikki Moore because of the Sheed signing.

ESPN never fails to impress me with their lack of Bball IQ.
