The hate for TA is ridiculous. Wasn't he our 2nd leading scorer off the bench last year? Didn't the team give up -3.3 points/100 possessions with him on the floor? Didn't he hold opposing sgs to 12.7 PER and opposing sfs to 11 PER?

Sure TA makes plenty of dum mistakes. But he is also a talented player and has the ability to be a difference maker in certain games if he has it going. He couldn't handle the role that we gave him last year. But this year his role will be reduced so why does everyone want to get rid of him for nothing now? Unless Walker/Giddens make big leaps in the offseason, he's clearly better then them. What's the rush to just get rid of him? It's like people who wanted to buyout Scal last year and he ended up being a good contributor to our team.

Good point. TP
First of all, when you(you in general terms not you specifically)depend on those PER stats,  to make a point you're fooling yourself, and not looking at the total truth, because those stats dont take into account, what team was playing who, who was guarding who (because the nba has many cross-matches defensively. as well as how often a team dbl. teams a player),what five guys were on the floor offensively and defensively, etc. so those stats are just mathematical stats& probability, not reality.

Second, the hate on Tony Allen is b/c in your own words

"Sure TA makes plenty of dum mistakes. But he is also a talented player and has the ability to be a difference maker in certain games if he has it going. He makes more than plenty of mistakes. and everybody in the NBA is a talented player (except Kwame and Darko) which is why they are in the best Professional Basketball league in the World, the NBA. And there are hundreds of other players in the NBA who have the Ability to be a difference maker in Certain games IF he has it going. (which is when for TA?) If Tony couldn't handle the small role he had last year, which was to use his ability to be a difference maker in more than just "certain" games, and his role is expected to be reduced from small to tiny, that is probably the most popular reason why people are hating on Tony Allen.  There are hundreds of other players in the NBA who have ability who can be a difference maker in more than certain games, even "if" they dont have it going.
