How many CBs are willing to take a run on employee #8 again?
He just got arrested or w/e for owing 800 some odd thousand dollars to a casino, so you know he'd work for the vet min.

He's young enough to still be able to play. He's just out of shape. He can only be as good or bad as Scalabrine at this point. How about let him work out with our starting unit and have Ainge and Doc watch, and see if he's worth a one year non guaranteed vet min contract

Any takers?
Can't stop, Rondo!

Nah. He was just about done after his 2nd stint with the Celtics. Four years later, I doubt he even has the mileage to strictly be a 3 point specialist. Those knees of his ran out of ammunition after Pitino and O'Brien wore him out with the amount of minutes, plus the way they were having him play.

I'm on board only if Coach Bo, Amager, FLCeltfan, Justin Poulin, Hobbs, Amenhotep, and 500 other CB regulars want him back.

Other than that, I'll be happy to meet up with Fatty and Vinnie at the local Sports Bah!

i'm all for it if ainge trades him soon right after again. that way antoine can be nice and then call ainge a snake all over again. i like danny so much more just for being the guy that traded antoine away twice.not crazy about trading FOR him but i'm just gonna blame ownership for that one. ;D

Apparently, Antoine stiff his agent, too:

But there also was a much less-publicized setback for the former Celtic in March, when an arbitrator ruled that he owed his former agent, Mark Bartelstein, more than $450,000 in unpaid fees. Bartelstein sought the money after Walker came up short on paying his 4 percent agent commission, apparently upset at Bartelstein for not being able to get him a new, lucrative deal. (The last two years of Walker’s last contract were not guaranteed because of concern about his knees.)

Bartelstein filed a grievance to get his money and arbitrator George Nicolau ruled in the agent’s favor March 19. Nicolau ordered Walker to make the back payments to Bartelstein within 10 days, but it is unclear whether that has happened. When reached, Bartelstein didn’t want to comment on the matter

Everything I hear about Antoine off the court makes me think that he's not the loveable, "bleeds green" type of guy some make him out to be.  He sounds like a bit of a dead beat.

All the negativity in this town sucks. It sucks, and it stinks, and it sucks. - Rick Pitino

If he got in great shape I think he'd be a lot better than Hudson that we could leave in the D League for a year.
He'd have to be clear in the head too and it should be a non-guaranteed contract

I read those two things together not as "deadbeat," but as "dead broke."  Cripes, it's hard not to feel bad for the guy, but he's long washed up.

Good news for collectors is that his Miami Heat championship ring ought to be available on eBay in a month or two.  That is, if he hasn't already lost it in a poker game.
