I don't understand this trade for Miami though at the moment. Need to study it more.

I can see the TPs flowing my way with this awesome breaking story I've brought forward.

When you get rid of Blount, there's no need for analysis. But I think they did this because they lost Moon so they wanted to get another wing and they are both expiring contracts. Minnesota gets to save a little money.

Richardson gets traded for the fourth time in one offseason. A record or two must have been broken.

Mark Blount is back in Minnesota. This is still a good trade for the Timberwolves because they save a few million dollars. Plus, Blount played his best basketball with Minnesota.

Unfortunately, that was when KG was with Minnesota.

He'll now be playing with Al Jefferson who has really taken off since they were last teammates (not counting the few preseason games they were teammates two years ago). I really hope Blount doesn't hog the ball and stunt Jefferson's continuous development as an elite big man.

how many times can 1 person (QRich) get traded in a year? is he going for a record?

4 times so far this summer, that is flat out crazy... he's like a turnstile..

June 25, 2009: Traded by the New York Knicks to the Memphis Grizzlies for Darko Miličić and cash considerations.

July 17, 2009: Traded by Memphis Grizzlies to the Los Angeles Clippers for Zach Randolph.

July 20, 2009: Traded by Los Angeles Clippers to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Sebastian Telfair, Mark Madsen, and Craig Smith.

August 13, 2009: Traded by the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Miami Heat for Mark Blount

you could actually field a 6 man squad of guys who have been dealt for him

C - Darko
PF - Madsen
SF - Z. Randolph
SG - Craig Smith (stretch I know)
PG - Bassy

6th man - Blount

I remember reading somewhere that they weren't satisfied with their SF b/c they want a shooter to spread the floor. James Jones couldn't stay healthy and Dorell Wright and Moon weren't the best of shooters from range. Qrich CAN shoot, but to make them he has to throw up ALOT more shots(kinda like Antoine Walker)
Can't stop, Rondo!

tp for beating me to that post

but I don't think big al has to worry about Blount hogging the ball or stunting his growth - I doubt Blount sees much floor

I don't understand it for Minny. Hopefully there are draft picks or cash compensation or something, and Blount gets waived.

maybe its part of a publicity student, 30 teams in 30 weeks - he goes to every team in the league then back... that'd be so cool
