Great move by the Eagles, Vick will make that offense more explosive. Good move for Vick too, going to a team with a very respected, good coach who will put Vick in the right situation to succeed.

Interesting move.

Probably not a bad gamble by one of the better teams in the NFL.

It'll be all in how they use him, though.

Yeah, I'm curious to see that, too.  It will also be interesting to see how much of his athleticism he lost.

I kind of wanted to see him go to San Fransisco, just to see if the city would burn down in a fit of malnourished PETA rage. (not that I have anything against the city...they just have so many protesters that already live there)

I guess they are worried the Giants will injure McNabb with their pass rush vs. Eagles injured O-Line.    ;)

Guess I will have to cheer on O'Connell/Walter now...let's REALLY hope Brady stays healthy!

I quote the (inure McNabb)   What better 2nd option at qb is there in the league. Brady had Cassel, but he's gone. Go Eagles!
Can't stop, Rondo!

This is a great move footballwise for Philadelphia.

Their offense is already built around having a quarterback with mobility (McNabb). McNabb is an aging QB with injury history and a godawful backup. Vick could fill in seamlessly using the same basic playbook if McNabb should go down. Makes perfect sense for Philly to grab him.

If McNabb is healthy and they use Vick at wideout, they have Jackson, Maclin, and Vick for a speed wideout corps, and Baskett and the TE group as red zone options. Not a bad offense if they can harness that athleticism, and they should with a month before the season.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Good move for Philly, although I am glad that Vick is not on the Pats.

Vick should be cleaning toilets for a living, not playing Football for 1.6 million a year.  He's scum.
