What I hate about TV today: They think we're stupid.

I was watching Raising the Bar, a show I've taken a little interest in A) because Zack Morris is a lead character, and B) Because Gunn from Angel is a lead character, and I've been mildly entertained by it. Not bowled over, but not disappointed.

So they have a promo on TNT for the next night's programming.

Its about a back to back block of "Bones"

Here is how it opens:

voiceover: "He wants the bad guys" (shows Angel, David Boreanez or whatever, beating up some back guy) "She wants the facts" (shows the bones lady looking at a skull), "Together, who knows what could happen???" (shows them arguing)

Really, TNT? That's how you promo a show? Bones started out as a pretty good show, its kinda sucked lately, but it started out as more than that.

I might never watch Bones again. We are not 5 yr olds that need cliche under worked promos. ABC, I hate you for Wipeout.

I agree. Chuck isn't high brow entertainment, but its darn good.

It's important to remember that the average American might not be very bright...the networks need to market to the uneducated crowd too
