If someone looks at him the wrong way on opening night he's going to rip their head off.

It's so cool we have a player we all know is going to be insanely amped up to play all out this season and through the post-season.

Has anyone heard anything about his progress since surgery? I mean, is it an injury where he may or may not come back at full strength? If he has lingering knee problems he may not be the player he once was. I just havent heard a thing about his expected health in relation to the knee.

i heard a radio interview about a month ago with wyc.  he said kg is doing great and will be 100% by training camp.  he is rehabbing and able to do a lot on it right now.

As much as I'll miss it, I expect to see less Alley Oops and more jump shots. Exactly why I hope we sign a Stromile Swift type player where the Oop can be added into our arsenal.
Can't stop, Rondo!

He'll come back even more intense than ever... if that's even possible.

I think he'll be fine and even more hungry.  Plus, you can't really count the playoffs as time missed, as many players don't make the playoffs, and we don't question how they'll "come back" the next season.  So he missed 25 games, which is significant, but it's not like he's Tracy McGrady or anything.

Mentally he'll be as hungry as ever, with an added benefit of improved communication/trust/patience with his teammates

Physically I don't think he'll ever be the same though.  I think Doc will limit his minutes a bit more this season (which is good), but I wouldn't be surprised if KG has lost 1/2 a step.  Still, what is left will blow away most other PFs in the league.

I'm more interested in seeing the KG & Rasheed combo on the court at the same time!

Two words:

ANYTHING"S POSSIBLE!

No way of knowing until training camp reports start to filter out, and we see him ourselves during the pre-season.  If the knee's healthy, I predict he'll be back to 100%.  If the knee is giving him problems, then we'll be facing an uphill battle next season.

I've got to think that sitting out the playoffs last season really drove him crazy.  And I'm sure that he feels that we would have gotten back to the finals if he were able to go.  So I think his motivation is going to be through the roof!
