Although I'd prefer to not trade Rondo, I'd be tempted to trade him for a borderline all-star caliber talent (Gay, Mayo, Jeff Green, Al Horford, Thaddeus Young,) and a top five lottery pick.

John Wall is a miracle, Rose will be like Marbury in NBA, nothing special, just another skilled kid, who's going to bust his career after many bull****s

That comment is laughable, after seeing what he did against us in the playoffs in his rookie season, comparing him to marbury is ridiculous.  I remember him burning marbury when he gave a sad attempt at guarding Rose, there is really no comparison there.  But this Wall kid looks like the real deal, crazy athlete.

Marbury was like Rose in his first 2-3 seasons, he played 6-7 seasons at all-star level, Rose will do it the same, he'll ****ued up thing, because he's dumb country ass and can't even read, he fail on his SAT, and if he doesn't played basketball, he won't make it to the college never, he'll be nothing, just another boy screw his career with bad stuff, no matter, ego, drugs, stuff against the law etc.

You're ripping a guy about failing his SAT's with a paragraph full of grammatical nightmares like that?! Please also refrain from profanity even if it is masked. There is no need for that. Also there really is no need to tear Rose down in order to build this guy up. He has some amazing highlights against High School players, so what?! Let's see him light the college crowd up like that and then we have something to talk about.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I'm not trading Rondo because this guy dominates in high school and he can jump.

Impressive mix he looks like he's gonna be good.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
The Bulls had a pretty deep team last year- top to bottom...and Gordon was really the reason they took us to 7 in the first series. I think they will really miss him this year. I am not a huge Gordon fan or anything, but he is so clutch.

The only thing that mix tape showed me was a kid who jumps and dunks really well (though there were a couple of nice passes mixed in there). Athleticism is great, but basketball requires just tad bit more than that.

Now wait a second, I never said something for Wall, I just said that he looks like a miracle, I never said that he'll be playing at this level in NBA, but he really looks pretty good, you need to agree with that. I just said that "TO ME"[ Rose will end up like Marbury... complete failure, nothing else, I'm not compare him to Rose or somebody else

Just one question after watching that clip.  Can John Wall shoot from the outside?  lol  Looks like a great great talent but you got to love these clips that don't show the whole story.   You learn over the years to not get too excited over some highlight reels.   I remember people I know saying wait until this Telfair kid comes into the NBA after watching a highlight reel of him.    For every great prospect that comes through there is one that disappoints.

Yeah, I know the kid is just now becoming a college player.  The thing that amazes me is he pushes the boundary and does original things every time he steps on the court.  Being a UK fan, i saw rondo do amazing things in much the same way, but not to this extent.

And to answer the character questions, the kid is a class act.  He's got a good head on his shoulders, and has been praised by big name college and nba players he's been playing pickup games with.

If you want him against some better competition, see stackhouse facial...

Ok, last one i swear.  Here's one from a Reebok Camp.  I got a serious warm fuzzy bromance going on.

Rose has the potential to be the best PG in the NBA.  In his rookie season led a young, athletic team into the playoffs, single handedly won a few games against us.  We had no answer for him.  Marbury never took over BIG games like that, especially in his rookie season, against elite teams.

I hate to nitpick, but I think averaging a triple-double against him is a pretty good answer.  Rose played well, but you couldn't have had a discussion about the best player in that first round without at least mentioning Rondo.

I'd have a hard time giving Rondo up for much right now.  He looks to be a future All-Star and he's still cheap (for now).  If somebody offered me the world then of course I'd do it, but I can't see any acceptable deal that another team would offer - no way you get fair value for him at this point.

I'll admit to the possibility of a sick lop-sided deal that could change my mind,

but if I were king I would not trading Rondo unless his salary demands threaten to sink the entire ship.

Rondo and Perk are the foundation of the post-GAP Celtics.  It's been so long since we had a true stud at PG (sorry Sherm, David, Kenny -- appreciated your efforts, but you all were merely good as C's).  Now we have Rondo who by all accounts is approaching all-star caliber and still improving.

I don't want to risk watching our offense quarterbacked by the next Corchiani, Telfair, Banks, or Greene.

apologies for the typo.  Intended to type "I would not trade Rondo unless his salary demans threaten to sink the entire ship."
