An espn writer is saying the Bills would have more because outside of Brady and Belicheck who would get in?

And that's why I don't take the HOF all that seriously. The Pro Bowl and All-Pro teams get it right most of the time. The HOF doesn't.

Take Adam Viniateri for example. Single best kicker that ever lived by far. How many playoff game winning kicks does a guy have to hit?

Ty Law. Were there almost any CBs in his prime better than him?
Dan Koppen. Started from day one as a 5th round rookie. And how many times did Brady get sacked? Like zero?
Would you have traded Vrabel for almost any LB in the league at the time? Of course not.
Are you telling me Seymore, Vilfork, and Ty Warren weren't basically the best at their positions?
And when you break down certain positions more carefully you wouldn't say Kevin Faulk is a great great running back, but he is one of the best 3rd down backs ever.
Troy Brown is one of the best slot receivers ever, and he played CB! Phenomenal special teams player. It would have been stupid to trade him for almost any other receiver at the time.

Our backups were better than other teams' Pro-Bowlers at times.

If I'm Brady and Belicheck and people don't recognize these things I'm just not going. I'd be like "Sorry. All us Patriots are getting together for a ring polishing party. We're going to have cake. Why don't you induct Eli Manning or something? He was pretty good."

I think, when its all said and done, the '90s Bills will have more HOFers.

You have to look at how the Patriots have been organized this decade.  They've never really been a team of "stars".  The team has stayed ultra-competitive but the names and faces have always been changing.

Look at that '01 roster and compare it to now or even to the '03 and '04 teams.  There was a lot of turnover.

Brady & Belichick are shoo-ins. If Vinatieri doesn't get in, then you'll never see another kicker get in.  I think he'll make the HOF.  I think that's 3 there.

Harrison is going to be an interesting one. I feel it'll get awfully political and I'm not sure that he'll get in.  Ty Law was one of the best CB in the game for an extended period of time.  I think he'll get serious consideration.

Moss and Seau will make it but a lot of that will be based on accomplishments made with other teams.

I think Seymour will get serious consideration although if he keeps tailing off like he has recently, he won't get in.  Another 4-5 years of high level performance from Wilfork will garner some consideration.

Guys like Bruschi and Brown are great all-time Pats but they won't sniff the HOF.

Coach and Brady make 2. Vinateri will get in. So 3. Seymour is a strong possibility. Dillon as well. An OL like Mankins could get you up to six.

For interest sake, the '90s Bills HOFers right now are:

Marv Levy
Jim Kelly
James Lofton
Thurman Thomas
Bruce Smith

I think Andre Reed will join them down the road so you're talking at least 5, possibly 6.
