I know because I went to it!  8)

I'd e-mailed the organizers and as of Wednesday Glen was going to be at the game along with "Spud" Webb and a collection of local Nebraska players. Guys like Anthony Toliver and Booker Woodfox. Unfortunately Glen wasn't there, but we had a good time.

Tonight I got an e-mail from the event organizer:
Quote
I wanted to pass along a bit of info from Big Baby. He got a call from Danny Ainge on Friday night and had to take an immediate flight to meet with him and the Staff (regarding his contract). He sent me a message today asking to send an email to all of the Celtics fan who came out to the game to see him, as he wanted to apologize for the last minute trip out of Omaha (he really enjoyed his time here).

Seeing the NJ rumor pushed me over on posting this, as its second hand information.

Interesting news here.. Now with this news from New Jersey I wonder if we were to trade Big Baby for Yi and Keyon Dooling I would be pumped! Then we could get the Daniels deal over with and call it an off-season.

I can verify that Faffy was there and BBD wasn't. This doesn't mean theres a trade up with the nets but theres a pretty good chance we're in advanced stages with someone.  BTW both Yi and Dooling, seems like a lot for just Baby.  Might have to send Giddens or Walker even if the Nets are crazy.

I understand that might be much but i just remembered they have Jarvis Hayes which would be a replacement for James Posey guy who has the 6;8 Frame plays decent D and can hit the open 3! Come on Jarvis would fit perfect in Boston!!!

Yep, Jarvis would be a good fit if we can get him and either Dooling or Yi.  Now I'm anxious for the week to start so we can hear who's actually in all these trades....
