As one of the voters, I gave my opinion.  You can do 1 of three things.

1) Figure out how to respond to these legitimate critiques for press conference time.

2) Figure out a way to adjust your team to fix said weakness.

3) Whine about it.

Boston's big man rotation is catching a lot of undue flack. I'm not sure what more people need to see from Nene at center, very active, physical, great finisher, great spin moves, 2nd best FG% in the league, knocks down jumpers, rebounds. His foul rate is high, but I don't hate a strong, aggressive defender. And he's only 26. (And the fact that Denver's GM is playing the injury card when he's built his team around Greg Oden and intends to flip Yao Ming next season is skewed.)

I also love McDyess, and it's becoming apparent that he's underrated here. One of the few NBA stars to successfully reinvent himself. Not many big men with better midrange games. A savy, well rounded player and a winner.

And Chris Anderson is possibly the best third big in the league, wdleehi's scare tactics aside. He'll miss some assignments, but he's great on the switch, long, very mobile, with a surplus of energy.

Tops.

EDIT - Wait, plus Odom? Front court is not this team's problem.

Well said The Walker Wiggle, I especially like the edit.  ;) Do you have any critiques/suggestions?

Well, rumor is that Houston's GM is petty and reserves his harshest public appraisals for his own teams' critics. But suggestions?

I enjoy Skip to My Lou, and he acquitted himself well in Orlando's Finals push, but he's not a conformist and runs hot and cold. While, Barbosa is one of the league's quickest players and a prodigious scorer with great intangibles, but more or less a two guard. So possibly added importance on Boston drafting a strong third point?

This is all said with the understanding that Wade will do the bulk of team's ball handling, with Odom also possibly facilitating plays. (My team is following a similar model with Joe Johnson and Grant Hill.)

Also and unrelated, I like Butler, but don't know what to make of his breakout year at age 30? How often does that happen?

Honestly I think a guy like Lindsey Hunter could run that Boston team.

What they need is a defensive PG that can hit the 3 ball. (Yes, I know Lindsey Hunter can't hit a 3 ball)..I think where they run into trouble is when a PG tries to do too much for them.

Good, but I think you run the risk of letting the inmates run the asylum with no vet guidance on that team.

Well, we would probably go the route Danny went - Build up our guys and suck as a team for a few years - then trade a few of them for a superstar or two and win a title.   ;)

Really, I'd choose 2 of Speights, Jianlian and Hill and choose 2 of Harden, Morrow, Young, then take the other 2 guys left over and turn them into great team guys..like Bruce Bowen and Udonis Haslem, or something.

That is a playoff team for sure...I hate williams/marbury but only because I hate williams and marbury is crazy. You need a third PG and maybe a PF/C Combo to round it out, but I like it.

You have some nice pieces at the 2,3,4 not sure that the Dalembert Thabeet combo is championship material though, also you always run risks trying to develop to players at the same position together

I love the 2,3 but not the 1,4,5.

I don't think you're getting to the playoffs starting undersized Flynn and the Harrington/Dalembert combo. Brandon Roy is maybe good enough to do it on his own, though.

Co-sign. Killer frontcourt. Could use another big.

I wonder if you could deal Mo for a backup PG and a big, and start Mayo at PG with Rudy. Or am I crazy?
