It's not a huge signing by any means, but the Spurs took one of the "depth" centers off of the market.

Theo Ratliff is still playing?
Theo played well for the Sixers and Pistons over the past two seasons.

Good fifth big in the rotation for San Antonio ... although I don't think he has enough left in him for a larger role than that.

This is a nice insurance signing by the Spurs. They were so weak in the middle last season, so I like their strategy of stocking up.

Although my fellow Alabamian is near the end, he's good enough for the role of insurance man.  The Spurs are looking solid and I hope they are finally leveling the playhing field with the Fakers after a couple of years on easy street in the west.
