That would be great.  Now, if DET did sign BBD to a big contract that BOS didn't match, we would need to sign a 4th big, and Wallace could fit that role...

If a player signs for the minimum, I don't care about the timing of the acquisition.  I'd be fine with him as a backup C though it probably means the end of the Robert Swift experiment.
