Paid 10 million for his 14 million contract.

He's probably a rich mans Mikki Moore by now, just about good for 6 fouls and nothing more.

He wants to retire, doesn't he?

His game has declined SO much...  but you wonder, as the fourth big?  10 minutes a night?  Another body to put on Dwight and Shaq?  Not concerned with the $$, he'd sign for the vet min...  are he and 'Sheed still tight?

With no promises about playing time, I'd make a call and see if he wants one last shot.  We need another big, especially if we're going to trade Scal.  The other decent option is probably Joe Smith, but I really like Wallace's attitude.  "Twelve Angry Men," baby, that's your 2009-2010 Boston Celtics!

I bet he retires, though.

Sign Wallace for the minimum. Trade TA, Scal, Pruitt and a second round pick for Gerald Wallace

Sign any undrafted free agents with the name Wallace to fill up roster spots.

Once we've collected them all, it will open the door to the Twilight Zone, where the Larry O'Brien Trophy is.

Who the hell is this "Brandon Wallace" that Yahoo! lists as being on our roster?

EDIT: Oh yeah, I remember him.  Why's Yahoo still list him on our roster, though?  He's been gone - to Turkey, apparently - for a while...

If he was going to retire, wouldn't he have just let the contract stand and pocket the extra $4 million?  Or am I not thinking clearly?  I would think that reaching a buyout makes him more likely to continue playing, but I could be wrong...
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Retires or returns to Cleveland for vet min.

Why go back to Cleveland?  He's more valuable as a center than as a PF, and they've got three other guys ahead of him who can log minutes at the 5.  It'd make more sense for him (I think) to come to Boston, back up Perk at the 5, let 'Sheed play mostly at the PF spot.  I don't think he would get a lot of minutes here, but I don't think he's get much of any in Cleveland.  Shaq will start, Z will come off the bench.  Sideshow will probably start at PF, and you'd think they'd want to get Hickson some minutes.  Not sure where Ben would fit in there.

If he DOESN'T retire, I think he goes somewhere else where he can contribute and where he's got a chance of winning.  I could see him fitting in great with the other guys on the team.

I'm not going to cry if he signs elsewhere, but I would love to see another big brought in (other than Swift), since we're probably going to need to trade Scal for help at some point.

He played good defense for them.  He likes it there.  Was willing to just retire to save them money.
