After reading the Gerald Green thread,  it inspired to bring this one out.  He is the perfect fit.  He can play SG & SF for us, knows our system ( thrived in it, 2nd in 6th man of the year award ) and played alongside Paul and KG.  Not sure what really happened to him in LA with his tendinitus.  Ok Ok, I'm from the Brigade and just wishing to see him in a C's uni again,  but he could come cheap.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
Doc suggested that he was a problem in the locker room, and the rumor was that he was undermining Pierce.  KG wasn't a fan in Minnesota, either.

I'm in the "Bring Back Sam Jones" crowd.

Sam may be 75, but he's wily.

He'll bring more brains to the 3 than Gerald Green or Tony Allen. Or both.

  • Rondo = Good
We could do worse, I guess.

If he was a locker room problem in the past, though, it's not worth it.

That's what I heard through the grapevine. Messing with the chemistry of the team is a huge no-no. I'd rather take a lesser player that fits with the chemistry than a highly skilled poison.

I was hoping we could do a sign and trade for Oscar Robertson or possibly bring in Cousy as a UFA.  Would he take the "veteran" minimum?

I dont know how Ricky could be a locker room problem anymore with Pierce, Allen, KG, and Sheed whipping him into shape. As a last resort I'd take him back.

If a "Bring Back Mark Blount" thread is next, we are going down hill in a hurry.

Bring back Dominique Wilkins! Wait... Why would we try to bring back people anyway? We have enough veterans on our current roster.

I expect "Bring Back Orien Greene" to come first.
