I would love for Cuban to take Odom away from The Lakers, but would he fit on their team?

What about BBD? I have to think the loser of the Milsap sweepstakes will be a player for Davis as well.

Who will be the Celtics next A acquisition?

I don't think Odom would sign for the MLE, and I can't see LA working out a sign-and-trade with Dallas.

As for BBD, I could see the Mavericks offering him something.  I'm sure they'd prefer somebody else, but there aren't a ton of good free agents left on the market.  They have no real use for Andre Miller, Iverson, or Sessions, they can't afford David Lee, and who else is left for impact free agents?

I'm not sure what Dampier's contract status is (i.e., how much is non-guaranteed); perhaps Dallas could attempt to do a sign-and-trade with the Knicks for Lee, taking back some bad salary in the process.

What about Drew Gooden? Do you think Dallas would go after him?

Dampier's is fully guaranteed for this year, next year is a team option. So his contract would be very attractive to the Knicks.

Between Howard, Marion and Nowitski, the Mavs are stacked at the 3 and 4 positions. Davis shouldn't be that appealing as a backup 5. They're better off getting a Nesterovic, Oberto.... or make an MLE run at a guard - Felton, Sessions, etc.

If you can add Odom for the MLE, you have to do it. He's too talented to pass up. LA will have him more than that though.

Felton, Sessions and Odom are too good for the MLE. All 3 of them are solid players who want years and money.

Just an FYI...

Odom will stay with the Lakers. The first offer he gets from another team (i.e. Dallas offering somewhere around 8.5 mil a year for 3 seasons) will be the last he gets because the Lakers will make the same offer and he'll sign. (The team is just hoping he doesn't really get any offers so they can get him to sign a 7 mil, 1 season offer)
