"The Houston Chronicle reports Tracy McGrady will change his uniform number from No. 1 to No. 3 to promote his "3 points Darfur" initiative."

If a player changes his number but never plays a game, does it make a sound?

Of course he does, I'm sure he'll make lots of sounds at press conferences while he's not playing.

Now if only he'd make some noise in the playoffs.
