I see he was bought out from the Grizz the other day, I was wondering when we could A. Sign Him and B. Would you guys like Stackhouse here? I think he would be the perfect fit and backup for Pierce/Allen. I really want him here and he is 34 which would be the vet. backup we need! Come on Danny Go get Jerry!

He's extremely injury prone...ideally we'd get somebody who will be more likely to actually still be playing by the time the playoffs start.

If health isn't an issue, Jerry is the best choice. I really think next season JR & Walker will get considerable minutes. So having Jerry to lean on at times with House/JR/Walker/Scal is a plus.

His numbers last year were horrible. Not all 34 year olds are the same in this league. Knee issues will end a career early.

I really just want somebody. Matt Barnes, Jamario Moon, Childress, Stackhouse.. I want any of those guys! They would fit this team very well.

I'm actually liking this idea more and more as the days go on.  The Hawks are making this more likely too by the way they're shaping up.  I wonder what Childress would require from us.

If Bowan gets bought out, I think it would be great to sign him for the vet. min. as well.

I'm actually liking this idea more and more as the days go on.  The Hawks are making this more likely too by the way they're shaping up.  I wonder what Childress would require from us.

Childress would want more money than we have to offer.

Looking at the past few years I really dont see why people want Stackhouse.  The guy is a career 41% (31.6% from three) shooter who doesn't get many rebounds and is a bit undersized for the forward.  As a gaurd his numbers arn't all that bad (although that three % is a bit tough to swallow), but I just dont see what he is bringing to the table that would help us with the back up SF void.

Isn´t there already a Jerry Stackhouse thread?  Man, I think we´ve tired out our options to the point where we have multiple threads all discussing the same undesireable players.
