Poll: What's next on the pecking order, a backup wing or a backup PG?

OK, first order of business checked.  At this juncture, I believe that a backout wing is more important than a backup PG.

What do you think?

Also i've seen doc only do this a few times aka making pierce the point foward and having him bring up the ball, it doesn't change the fact that the other 100+ times he hasn't done it and it's been ridiculously frustrating to say the least.

I think wing (I thought it was our biggest need period even before a big), but I think you should have "Big Baby resolution" in there. A decision on him affects what we need out of the wing spot - a 3 who can play some minutes at the 4 when necessary, or a smaller 3/2 wing.

I'd prefer a wing that can play some point forward at least for 10-15 minutes, just so PP can have a rest.

agreed, if Pierce goes over 34 mpg during the reg season it's a mistake. Infact I laughed pretty hard during part of the sheed interview with dickerson where sheed was quoted as saying pierce said that doc won't run his vet's into the ground and will conserve their energy....WHAT is that why pierce played 37.5 mpg last year and clearly looked tired come playoff time?

why? They won't be nearly as good as pierce would, doc just needs to conserve pierce's minutes better. Aka he needs to play him less with the starters overall and the same amount he played during the bench. Pierce can start, play with the 2nd unit, and play with the starters down the stretch and not go over 34 mpg during the regular season easily if doc used his head. Just take him out at around the 6 or 5 minute mark in the 1st and 3rd quarters, bring him back to play with the 2nd unit, give him a little rest after the starters come back in and then bring him back at around the 6 or 7 minute mark to finish the 2nd and 4th quarters.

Obv Pierce's minutes should be upped during playoff time though.

If we want P getting rest, then this is not a good situation.

I also don't like P bringing the ball up. I really don't trust P as a point forward. I don't trust his dribble nor his instincts. I trust his instincts as a scorer.
