Nick Fazekas may just be worth the 15th spot. I would prefer him over Mikki Moore that's for dern sure. Reminds me a lot of Raef, except Raef wasn't a real inside player however he did have a nice stroke. It just may be worth a shot! The kid can straight out shoot the rock and if he can contribute a few boards as well I'd bring him in to training camp.

While the NJ/Philly squad struggled to find their groove on offense, two C's shined with the ball in their hands. Gabe Pruitt scored 13 points and showcased his passing abilities by racking up nine assists compared to only two turnovers. Nick Fazekas was the team's leading scorer with 22 points on 10-of-17 shooting and also grabbed nine rebounds. It was an impressive bounce-back game for the 7-foot shooter, who missed out on two opportunities in the final 10 seconds of last night's loss to either tie or give the C's the lead. J.R. Giddens and Bill Walker played solid roles in helping the Celtics shoot 53.8 percent as a team by chipping in nine points apiece.

Nick Fazekas is awful, absolutely awful, on defense.

He's just a big stiff who happens to be able to shoot.

He may have been good today (didn't see the game) but he was pretty terrible the two games before that.

He just looks too slow, maybe its the camera angle. Its hard to judge him based on those few games. Ask yourselves  "Is _________ a championship caliper player?" Sorry I just don't see Nick Fazekas as a championship player. But What do I know!

Valid points but Fazekas isn't a multi year vet like Moore, meaning he'd cost less. If I'm going to pay for ineptness I'd rather pay less for a young inept guy than a guy like Mikki

Please, Gabe was the best player on the summer league roster. No, Pruitt wasn't a championship caliber player then. But look out, Gabe is making noise this year. I'm 100% certain Gabe makes the team.

I could see Fazekas at the very least getting an invitation to camp in October.  He is slow, and struggles in one on one defense.  I think he could fill the fifth big slot. Definitely gives Doc what he likes, that is, a big who can spread the floor.

I think he would be in better playing shape in the Fall. I'd at least give him a shot in October. Nothing to lose.

Sorry but thats not a ringing endorsement for Gabe. Did you see our SL roster  :o. to boot GABE SUCKED. IF and that's a big IF Gabe makes the roster, you can bet he will be right where he's been since he's been here....end of the pine.

Exactly, you just knocked on Fazekas saying he wasn't championship caliber (or atleast bringing it to question)

Fazekas was the best player today, not Pruitt who was on a championship team.

IF Pruitt makes the team its becuase Hudson broke his finger.

Not to mention that in NOT ONE of these games has Gabe been the best player on the SL roster.

maybe giddens OR walker deserve to make the team off the summer roster..the rest dont...i'd rather keep hudson with a broken finger than gabe...tony and gabe are two that need to be gone

Nick Fazekas...he's not good. I don't want Pruitt around either, but that doesn't mean Fazekas should be in there.

If we have to have a 15th man (we don't), then I'd prefer Powe, injured or not, over Fazekas or Pruitt.
Go Celtics.

looks like baby maybe forced back...yahoo reporting pistons only have 3.6 mil to offer him...anything under 4 mil danny should match IMO...that would solve one problem on the bench
