I think Keleena would be a great fit. He is a great athlete that likes to play in the open court and has a very nice jump shot. He is a great 3 piont shooter and can play the 2 or the 3. I think we can get him for TA and a future first. I don't ???. What do you think? ;D

I don't see the Celtics trading future 1sts.  They are not allow to trade this years 1st (with out obtaining another 1st for this year)

I would love Azubuike.  The only way I can see him coming is if the owner wants to lower payroll to sell the team.

Yes, absolutely, make the deal. Good trade for Boston.

The odds of Boston's low first round draft pick being a better player than Azubuike are pretty low ... plus you get the upside of having Azubuike today, and he's good enough to be a difference maker off the bench. It's a home-run trade.

Wait, didnt i already say this? = p

Would love to have em, but IMO itll take more than tony + draft pick.  I'd say we'd have to package scals contract or a young player.

Even then, its not likely...

They wouldnt, but that wouldnt keep me from offering.  Draft pick, 2 draft picks, scals expiring, what young player do you want?

Azibuike is expected to make 3.1 mil and has 1 year left on his contract.  Maybe they would like to get something out of him instead of losing him next year when he will get a pay bump.

They also have a ton of SFs.  S Jackson, Maggette, both with 4 year big dollar deals and then A randolph and B wright.  Very capable players with 1 year deals.  Surrounding the SFs are capable players, including Curry, who they will definately be finding time in their rotation for this year.

Azubuike would be an ideal addition, I don't think Golden State are giving him up though...
go get him Danny
why Johnny Ringo...

Azubukie was available last year. He actually agreed to a deal with the clips, but the warriors matched the offer. If a deal could be made, Kelenna would help us a lot. First round is a bit much just for kelenna alone. Maybe Marco Belinelli & Kelenna Azubuike for House & TA & 1st round pick.

I wouldn't trade House for that. Who's our backup pg? Pruitt may not even make the team.

People should stop thinking that because Golden State has like a million wing players that they are necessarily looking to trade a bunch of them (besides perhaps Maggette because of his contract).

GS has that many wing players because Don Nelson basically plays 4 wing players and a power forward at all times.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Now should the time to make a push for kelenna. He'll be subjugated to 3rd string behind Jackson, and Corey. I think he's under contract for two more seasons at a reasonable price. We might work something out with our expiring contracts. It would be nice if somehow we can get Kelenna & Marquis before next season. Its possible.

He'd be a good pickup. I'd be nervous about anyone who's developed in a Nellie ball system though. Our offense and defense is so different...

I don't think we'd be able to pry him from GS though.

Now that the 2009 draft has passed the Cs are allowed to trade the 2010 first.  The rule  applies to future picks (so the Cs could not have traded the 2010 before the 2009 draft when they had none), and it does not matter that you did not have pick in the past draft.
