Ha! I'm no different from you guys... Just my gut feeling since Hill isn't available, and money wise he'll fit our roster + the connection Sheed & Stack share. Hell I want Iverson to come here too...lol but he's not ready for a ring yet (seems like he's still chasing the money).

Dream Roster (and very Possible)

Starters:
Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Garnett & Perkins

2nd Team:
Iverson, House, Stackhouse, Wallace, & Glen Davis or (Kwame Brown) lol

3rd Team:
Dermarr Johnson, Billy Walker, Gabe Pruitt, Nick Fazekas (lol) & Chris Lofton

This is not possible at all, because we don't have money to sign Iverson, and you probably forgot about some guys named Giddens, Tony and Scal.

I'm not opposed to this at all.  I saw one game when he was on Dallas where he gave Kobe all types of fits at the defensive end.  I know he's not known as a defensive player but that was great to see.

A motivated Stackhouse playing with his college teammate Wallace and the rest of the Celts would be good.

I think Danny has them pegged as Udoka, Stackhouse and Barnes, in that order.  Just my hunch.

good point about the Sheed Stack connection. I guess ANYTHINGS POSSIBLE!!!!

TP for the footage from Birmingham, AL BJCC Arena.  Same arena where I first saw KG play in a pre-season game.

If Stackhouse is healthy, I would be okay with bringing him in on a vet minimum contract. Maybe Sheed, KG, RA, and PP can motivate him. He owuldn't have to play a major role, just 12-15 good minutes off the bench, mostly during the season. During the playoffs, his minutes would go down, except for the blowout games.

I am still hoping to get in this massive trade with Portland, Chicago and Utah and somehow pull Travis Outlaw. Probably not going to happen, but I can dream.

I think either we sign a guy like Stack to the vet min. or land a backup wing via trade.

I also hope we can land another big, like Wilcox when the dust settles.

My dream lineup

PG- Rondo / Starbury or Antonio Daniels
2G- Ray / House / JR
WF- Paul / Outlaw / Walker
PF- KG/ Wilcox / LEON- come on Danny, you can do it!
C- Perk / Sheed

Ship Tony, BBD, Scal and Pruitt out

Stackhouse? Are we nuts??? Last year's stats @Mavs:

Games:10 FG:26.7 3PT:15.8 PTS:4.2 REB:1.7 ASS:1.2

What do the Celts need him for? I don't get it...

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
Two years ago he averaged 10.7 points; maybe last year was just an off year due to injuries.  I'd definitely extend him an offer to training camp, at the very least.  He's quite a bit younger than Grant Hill, and may have something left in the tank.

Do you think he's our best option right now?
