I think he proved that he still can play.  He seems like he'd play better with a bunch of vets.  If we lose baby than he might be a cheap but effective sub.  He does have ability and this is the year that he needs to show it.  He has a lot to prove and I think he's determined to do so. 

I wouldn't be saying this if Powe was healthy or Baby was out the door.

In what way did he prove that he can still play?  He was only able to earn about 9 minutes per game on a crappy team.

He did not do well enough to make it past training camp with the celtics last year, and it's not like he's improved that much since then.

This is a joke.  It was a joke last year.  People just wanted him to stick on the Blazers books and he did.  This year, there is no need for a washed up, out of shape guy who strictly relied on his athletisism.  Useless for US is an understatement.  Most like, just USELESS.
