Career 3PT% and 3PT's Made

Ray Allen:     .398%, 2,299
Paul Pierce:   .366%, 1,358
Sheed Wallace: .342%, 982
Eddie House:   .396%, 670

What other team can match up with this?

Also take into consideration that all four of these guys could be on the floor at the same time.

We'll be able to let it rain with the best of them.

Spurs have:

Finley: .374 career (.411 last season)
Ginobili: .376 career (.330 last season)
Bonner: .409 career (.440 last season)
Mason: .395 career (.421 last season)
Jefferson: .353 career (.393 last season)

That's a pretty impressive 3 pt. shooting lineup, especially if most of them perform closer to last season than their career averages.

Of course you can't forget the Magic:

Nelson: .389 career (.453 last season)
Carter: .376 career (.385 last season)
Pietrus: .354 career (.359 last season)
Lewis: .391 career (.397 last season)
Anderson: .365 career (.365 last season)
Redick: .381 career (.374 last season)
Johnson: .357 career (.391 last season)

They're probably still the most lopsided 3 pt shooting team in the league.  Almost everybody on their team can hit 3s.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Yeah, the addition of Sheed only adds to the deadliness of our 3pt shooting.  I'm sure there will be some other proficient 3pt shooting teams out there, but the C's will be even more dangerous now at the end of the game.  Can't leave many people open on this team anywhere on the floor.

The Magic have to be at least comparable with Nelson, Redick, Carter, Lewis, Pietrus and Ryan Anderson.

But I do agree that we will be able to make it rain.  We could field a Bomb Squad of House, Ray, Pierce, Scal and Wallace if we really needed a 3.  It would be nice to add a wing who could shoot though.

Subbing Wallace for Perk in crunch time will also make us very difficult to defend.  Wallace and KG make a great pair of screeners for Pierce, Ray or Rondo.  Rondo's lack of shooting is also much easier to hide with Wallace on the floor.  I'm excited.
Once Danny gives us an upgrade or at least shooting alternate to Tony Allen, and maybe a rebounding 4, I'll be ecstatic.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

I'd like to see Perk start raining down with the 3's too...just kidding.

Where's Scali?

His percentage last year was amazing but he's only hit like 150 Three's in his career.

The Magic were crazy last year as well with Lee and Alston.
I still thought the 08 Celts were amazing.  Paul, Ray, Posey, House, and Cassel.  All 5 of them were on the floor when we wanted to go small.  And of course we had the Scal.
Don't forget, KG can knock them down when so inclined.  Rondo too, he'd just rather drive or pass.  He only shot .313 last year, but remember he usually only shoots them when the shot clock is empty.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Rondo shoots threes at the buzzer becuase its his only option. He's not a good three point shooter AT ALL.

That might be the first time I've ever seen anybody, here or anywhere else, claim that Rondo is a good three point shooter.
Go Celtics.
