In Boston he can be the backup to Pierce and be very productive maybe even more so than Rasheed... Also Boston is just a short train ride from New York so his wife still could go to New York to help here singing career along...AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HE CAN GET A RING IF HE COMES HERE! IK IF I WAS GRANT I'D BE SIGNING WITH US IN BOSTON IN A HEART BEAT! but that's just me.

Not many people can pass up 3.1 million dollar difference. This is Hill's last chance to earn big bucks for the rest of his life. Why do you think Iverson is talking to Memphis. Same reason. It is one thing to be high minded and say you wouldn't take the money but Hill can pass on millions to grandchildren. That matters in the real world.

I doubt he'll be more productive than Rasheed, if he is, the Rasheed signing will be a huge bust

He should sign wherever he's happiest.  Hopefully that is the Celtics.

How much does 3 million really matter to a guy who has made many many millions of dollars over the course of his career - not to mention the fact that his wife has probably made quite a bit of money with her singing career, as well.

Hill has probably already earned 150 million over the course of his career. 2 mil vs 5 mil, shouldn't be a big factor.

whats funny is I don't know if you're referring to D'Antoni or Rivers, he likes both from what I gather and he'll get a paycheck from both teams, though the Knicks is considerably higher, if you're into that sort of thing

I said maybe (I don't think he will) ... I didn't say he will... and what if Grant plays really well and Rasheed does too but just barely not as good then no Sheed wouldn't be a bust.

Grant already has more money than we can ever imagine to pass on to grandchildren and for himself... Also the only reason Iverson doesn't want to go to a contender is because he wouldn't be able to start and he said he'd retire if he didn't start and Iverson is just a chemistry destroyer so that is why no contending teams want him... Heck even some bad teams wouldn't start Iverson.
