The most pressure lies on getting a wing now, and quickly, because the decent ones get signed left and right.

yup
marion ...gone
hill..close going
moon.. to expensive

Parker...i wish

I for some reason think Parker is a better fit
for perimeter deffensive purposes
he can be HELL of a 8th man after sheed and House
he can be a great 7th after sheed in some circunstances.

its funny. I keep forgetting about Parker... I guess I assume he'll chase a bigger paycheck overseas. He'd be a really nice 2/3 if Hill falls through.

I am more and more dreaming about this roster startng the season

Rondo     Miller                Pruitt   (signed for nothing)
Ray       House                 Giddens (signed for nothing)
Pierce    Parker                Walker ( signed for nothing)
KG        Sheed                 Powe ( signed as 15 for nothing)
Perk      Swift                 Moore (signed as 14 for nothing)

And somehow use Scal, tony , BBD salary and others to get Miller

or someone else

the thing is that I want our season roster ready before camp starts
that thing of signing an aged veteran like Cassel and Starbury mid season
really didnt work well , yup even with cassel he only bring a couple of great games
and definetly he  wasnt the reason Cs bench rocks
House, PJ and Posey were

So Parker in Poseys place
House in his role
and sheed over PJ
and we are even better than No.17
just a little older   :P

I know but i dont think there will be time with the other 3 big rotation if healthy
and no need to spend money there not a lot at least
specially if powe steal the minutes there
I am even leaving our beloved mikki there for insurance of garbage time
and because nobody will sign him he can get vet min offer.
Miller and Paker/Hill are the really needed pair here

I understand the logic, but Mikki might actually be ahead of Swift if on the same team. I would think that there would have to be a better option than Swift, though I can't think of one off hand.

Interesting. Not sure what his value will be 2 summers from now. Still a tremendous signing.

We have a former all star who is clearly still starter material coming of our bench. Only the Lakers can boast anything like that.

That's interesting; I had assumed the Celtics wanted a two year deal to have Rasheed expire in the same year as KG; that would have meant we'd have no contracts on the books for 2012 (other than potentially Giddens).

If its a players option that third year and none of the big 3 if left on the team at that point I can't imagine him staying on...

It depends on how much he wants the money.  Also, he could pick up the option just to attempt to force a buyout (and why wouldn't he?)

Good point, although I hate to already be imagining a doomsday scenerio.  Here's hoping to two more rings for him in the next two years and a nice ride off into the sunset for Sheed.

This says Garnett contract goes for another three years.  Am I missing something?
