Just a quick heads up on next week's schedule.

Today-Tuesday (July 31-Aug 4):  After the draft ends: Free agent signing period, along with add/drops, and trades.

Deadline for roster cutdowns, signings, and trades is Tuesday (Aug. 4) 11:59pm.  Rosters must be cut down to 15 players at that time and no trades will be accepted after that deadline.

Weds (Aug 5): Atlantic Division Press Conference

Thurs (Aug 6): Central Division Press Conference

Fri (Aug 7): Southeast Division Press Conference

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
Bulls trade: Gerald Wallace, Luis Scola and george Hill

Boxers trade: Kevin Martin, Ryan Anderson, Hilton Armstrong, Austin Daye, 15.4

I like this trade more for the Bulls.

I like it more for the Bulls, as well, but it does allow Washington to bolster its starting lineup, and still have a good swingman coming off the bench.

Ironically, even though I think the Bulls won the trade in terms of talent, this deal may help Washington in its division more than just Kmart would.

(I'm not sold on most of the other players nick gave up, so it's essentially a 3-for-1 in my eyes.  Austin Daye could be good, but he's two years away.)

I think you need some work.  Teams need *somebody* on their bench, don't they?

Horford is young and pretty inconsistent.  Bell is old, and in decline.

CP3 is a superstar, and KMart and Gasol are legit stars.

I'm not sure if that's the recipe for a championship.

And thats no diss to miami, they are trying to go young but a win now team with a bench like that is a bridge to nowhere

I don't like the sound of that.

I don't think Kenyon qualifies as a legit star anymore.  He'll be 32 next year, and puts up 12 and 6 in 32 mins per game.  He's still a solid starter, but star might be a reach.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.
