we like Raja over Redd

I literally stopped reading after that.

Redd is hurt too much and doesn't play very good D. Raja is a better "fit" for a team that already has stars. Redd is overrated as was seen in the Olympics when his game should be at its best. On a championship contender, Redd is a good third scorer, IF HE IS HEALTHY.

Roster analysis should be taken to the other thread.

You loved Scola when he was picked in the 3rd, now you like Brad Slimey Miller more.

How is that public posturing?  That's a trade offer you made us, which we turned down.  Why would we be insincere?  If we thought it made us better, we would have made the trade that you offered us.

But please, continue to not realize that a GM can like or dislike a player depending upon his fit on a certain team.

Hm I asked if you'd move Scola for Brad Miller, Gomes and Dudley for depth purposes. If your going to state the facts, state all them. Scola is much better than Miller, but b/c of depth needs Gomes, who should of been a 5th rounder and Dudley help us.

You're just trying to attack my team and others to avoid the fact that the Blazers would implode in real life.

You're the one who made your offer public.

As we told you, we wouldn't trade Scola for Miller straight up.  We're glad you like our players, though.

Flip flopping now on the missing Gomes and Dudley part

Where is the "flip flop"?

I think we're seeing Chicago's GM "pull a Starbury" and melt down publicly.  Or, I guess, the continuation of the meltdown, where you blew up a championship contender with your last two trades.

You suggested I was posturing when I said I liked Miller over Scola.  I told you that there was no reason for us to posture, because it was a private conversation.  Now, you're suggesting something else?  What, exactly?

We like Miller over Scola.  Period.  We told you that, privately, and you decided to make a big deal out of it.  That being the case, I'm not sure why we'd add Gomes and Dudley to the package.

Just saying jr:

Huge, mega gigantic flaw with your team is, what happens when Paul has to sit or gets in foul trouble? Your offense comes to a screeching halt and perimeter defense falters.

Hobbs trying to cause confusion. he loved Wallace before he went to the Bulls. He loved Scola before he went to the Bulls. He talks about injuries. Glass house???

I think the Portland propaganda machine is entertaining, kinda like the Starbury thing. It will also end poorly.

Stating things like we offered Scola for miller without adding in the Gomes and Dudley thing is pretty poor class imo.

Roy offered Manu for George Hill.  :o

Oh yeah and Gasol. Changes things huh? You ask not to discuss in this thread and then post in here. I really think you should worry about your team and trying to get a superstar so you could really contend.

Nick we're a running team. And scola and Horford is a great luxury when Gasol sits. Wallace and Bell gives us about 17 and 15 a game and CP3 is Isiah, if Isiah wasn't a punk

Or we could continue a pointless flame war.

Seriously, man...  you're losing it.

I never said I "loved" Wallace or Scola.  I like them.  I still do.  I do not, however, think Wallace is a good fit on your team.  Why is that hard to understand?

As for Scola, I like Miller better.  Again, how have I ever contradicted that?  Miller > Scola.  Miller + Gomes + Dudley >>>> Scola.

Roy just end it. You're a flip flopper and I had to point it out, b/c you were trying to mislead in the thread. Just walk away. You're acting silly. You tried to make up a Scola for Miller straight up rumor and I had to call you on it. You seem to have the need to have the last word... Hmm.

You do. I have been impressed. At first I had my doubts about you, but you have earned your stripes. There's a reason I hassle you for your players. You pick well.
