Detroit: Gerald Wallace

Chicago: Rudy Fernandez, Wilson Chandler, 10th rounder (21)

I like this better for Detroit, by a long shot.

can't say i agree with you.
Yes I think its just competitor gamesmanship

Time will tell.

If Charlotte traded Gerald Wallace in a 3-way deal and netted Rudy and Chandler and, say, a high second rounder, I think universally people would say they made a fantastic trade.

Yes b/c the real Bobcats aren't title contenders. If Ray Allen was traded for Flynn, Evans and Thabeet that would be a 3rd for a 5th and two 6ths. Apples and oranges.

i don't consider a 9th round pick in this draft, where everyone is unbound by contract value, anywhere near equivalent to a high second round pick.

Yes, a  guys are still around that a NBA team would grab in the second round, but only by virtue of them being established NBA players, since we are redrafting the entire league.

Competitors loved Gerald Wallace and Luis Scola until they became Bulls. Now I know how Red felt ;)

Portland selects Quinton Ross.

It's a reach at this point, but we're rounding out our active roster.
