I backed out of the deal because I felt I was giving up way to much in the deal.....8.8,9.4 and 9.6 all for the 7.4 and only to trade up for someone who will pry be there in the 8th round anyways. Not to mention if i did that deal my team would be shot cause i would have no picks till the 12th round cause I trade away some picks last night
Yeah, but from my perspective, it's not cool to back out of a deal just because you have second thoughts after you agree to it. That's just my philosophy, though; word is bond and all of that.
Example: I made a deal with another GM, where we got the better of it. It was during the trade moratorium, and the other GM said "We don't like the deal for us any more, but we're going to live with it".
He earned my respect with that, and built up a lot of good will.
