brad miller

Old.  Shooter.  Injury issues.

Finally back on track with that old, injured, shooter plan.   ;)

Good pick.

I think Wdleehi is just bustin' chops, but ......I was killed for taking Brad Miller at the end of the 3rd round last year (to play alongside Tim Duncan) but I anyone who saw him play against the Celtics in the playoffs saw why we took him --- grit, toughness, rebounding, still has that nice 15 foot-and-out shot.

I said "good pick"

yeah, sorry i quoted yours then saw that you were starting off with those as a joke to fit with the rest of the team.....LOL. TP for Wdleehi for the chop-bustin, and Edgar as always for some awesome scrolling text :D

Miller is a role player again on Portland whil he started on the Magics. Could that be the difference? Btw, is there a potential issue with Redd coming off the bench? Not sure he'd be willing to do that entering into the prime of his career (if the injury issue doesn't linger).

am i the only one who thinks Redd's prime was 2-3 years ago? I know he's only 29 but he looks 40.

He don't know about that.  He averaged 21 points per game last season.  He may be on the other side of his prime, but he's still an elite player.

Looked at his stats, and watched him play, not a starting 2 guard in this league yet

Bulls select Rudy Fernandez

Good pick. Probably a guy that suffers in our game because of his real life situation. If he had the mins he'd get 15 a night easy, and pretty efficiently as well.

Nice pick.  There was another SG I probably would have gone with instead that probably would be a better help to winning now.

And like I said, don't expect Foye to be the starter.  He is going to be the 25-30 minute backup PG/SG.

Bulls are thrilled to get Rudy in the 5th. He's a great 3-point shooter, can drive, and plays tough D. He will be perfect for our running game. If he didn't play behind Brandon Roy, he would have been a 3rd or 4th rounder.

Redd Avg 21 points per game in 33 games last year before he tore his ACL and MCL. (Same injury Tony Allen suffered a few years back.)

I like Rudy, but I think he's become overrated.  He doesn't deserve the hype he gets.

Why should he suffer? we're smarter than that.

p.s. The Toronto diss is a seal of approval imo ;)

FWIW, i've never liked Redd much and don't know that I've ever called him elite. He's a terrific scorer and out-of-this-world shooter who has driven me crazy vs. the Celtics, but his game is pretty one-dimensional IMHO.

Might be better with better players around him but I don't think he improves teammates' games like a Ray Allen or Allen Iverson (in his prime)
