The Philadelphia 76ers are thrilled that this great teamate and this 6'7'' SG who is a strong defender, Ronnie Brewer , will be on their team.

He was on my short list last night, inability to hit the three killed him. Like him for you though.

Well I could of gone with someone else, but they didn't play defense, so I went with Defense over Offense.

I think I know who you are talking about, he was on my list as well. But with TP I needed a shooter on the wing, Brewer's above average defense paired with his below average defense would have made him only OK on my team.

The Nuggets select Udonis Haslem

I think you could have grabbed him at 14.

Just the type of good example guy all those young guys need. Great pick IMHO.

He's a good player, this is just a bit higher than we anticipated.

Still, I like somebody following in Portland's footsteps from last year, adding Haslem to go along with a young team.

Had to grab him now.  There were only so many PF left of his level.  (two went right before him)

Plus, he is the vet I wanted to go with the team.   He is the player that Love will have to beat out (meaning play defense) if he wants to start.

Possible, but when I looked at the lists of PFs, and then the list of the other position I am looking for in this round, the other position had more guys with less drop in skill.

Great pick.  He was on my list, hoping he would fall to me at 14.

IIRC, Lucky 17 to Mr. Brewer 2 freakin' spots before i was going to (at 5.1). Proabably why we went out and got his as our assistant co-GM this year.

I had two guys slotted for my pick charlie v and felton. I got lucky. But if you don't sometimes you can't wait for the next pick and hope your guy falls.

I think it was Big Ticket who drafted him, actually.  But yeah, he was good value both years.

It gives him another big.  But still no point guard.  But its a good move because we know Mcdyess is gonna need somebody split time with him

Does that say that this was a good pick, or the McDyess pick was a bad one, though?

I'm assuming Felton was a target until nick took him.
