Boxers willing to listen to offers on Gerald Green but are expecting only offers for players of his quality such as Michael Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, Oscar Robertson, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and, of course, Antoine Walker

Question: What was Sac's motivation here?

Bulls trade: Robert Swift and Brian Cardinal

Pistons trade: Keith Bogans

Suns trade: Desmond Mason
Bulls trade: TP considerations

I may be in the minority, but I believe Brian Cardinal is the best player involved in Chicago and Detroit's trade. He won't shoulder the burden of scoring or rebounding, but similar to Scalabrine, he puts his team in a position to win.

In other news I'm surprised Phoenix was willing to give away Desmond Mason, who was a starter at the beginning of the season, before surgery, is a strong defender and still a rotation caliber swingman.

EDIT - And then Chicago flips Mason for Stevenson? Who is two years younger, and probably an even better defender, though not as explosive and with a similar history of injury.

Hat tip.

I think the thought was the Stevenson isn't going to get much time in Washington this season.
