The Memphis Grizzlies could not be more excited to have drafted the NBA finals 2007 MVP. General manager KCatthestripe said, " TO get a player of Tp's caliber at the 19th pick is a huge bonus for us. We said before we didn't think the difference between 9th and 19th wasn't that large and this pick all but proves it. We snabbed a finals MVP Point guard with the 19th pick, that is a huge boon for us."

The Raptors are very excited to have moved back into the second round.  In a statement from the GM, "We are very excited and grateful that we were able to work out a deal with Detroit to get back into the 2nd round. We really like where we are picking and see a pretty decent drop off after the break in tomorrows draft.  That being said, there are always surprises and we may be very surprised at who gets taken before 13."
