Celtics Select Matt Harpring

Is he the most talented player remaining or the best prospect? Probably not…But he seems to have a great attitude and has showed he can play different roles over the years in Utah.

Harpring will embrace his limited role on the bench and with a positive attitude.

Isn't he mulling over retirement?

He seems like he's done...lemme find the quote..

Quote
Matt Harpring told The Salt Lake Tribune Monday that he will decide before the start of training camp whether to play his 12th NBA season.

"The bad ankle is on the same leg as the bad knee," Harpring said. "So it was a problem [last season]. It was a very big problem. And it still is a big problem ... What I really lost was the mobility. It just doesn't move and bend like it's supposed to and that becomes a problem when you're trying to play a sport like basketball."

"My plan is to let the Jazz know fairly soon. I don't want to handicap them. We've been in discussions. We've had open lines of communication. So they know how I feel. I've been giving them updates."

"You've gotta respect a 15-percent 3-point shooter. A guy
like that is always lethal." - Evan 'The God' Turner

10 minutes left before I make my pick. Need a mid 11th and an early 12th at minimum if you want this pick

Bummer... He's only 33. Well, hopefully he plays. Not terrible either way.

Edit: $6.5 million says he'll play this season. albeit a limited role I'm sure. That's what we're looking for.

I'd encourage folks to use the "Control F" function on the first page of the thread, to do a search.

It's no big deal usually, I'd just hate to see somebody make a double selection and then get jumped.

Nazr Mohammed was what, a red herring?
