Wow in two trades over the course of half an hour, Sacramento assembles the league's worst front court. Dalembert is an awful mentor for Thabeet, who's development over the next two seasons will be crucial. (The list of worst big men mentors is short, Eddy Curry...) Harrington I like, but he isn't the steadiest hand on the tiller either.

And back up, Hilton Armstrong could (and should) be out of the league this time next year. He's the poor man's Kwame Brown, and was regularly beat out of the rotation by Sean Marks and Ryan Bowen last season.

I do love the combination of Roy, Turkoglu and whichever rookie point emerges from the scuffle, Flynn or Jennings. (Though trying to develop both at the same time is likely a mistake.)

P.S. Jennings and Vujacic have best friend potential. Can anybody else see it?

I love my backcourt tons of options...dalanbert will be a good mentor and with roy and hedo i can afford to have 2 rookie pgs i mainly need them to get the ball over half court.

I dont think Armstrong is that bad either thats why I picked him but with the trades I just made didnt feel there was a need for him

A slender, athletic type, Armstrong isn't a post scorer but likes to attack opposing big men off the dribble. He really, really needs to stop, as it was a source of most of his turnovers. He's capable of finishing around the basket when set up on the pass, but has limited range and clumsy hands.

Armstrong did a decent job at the defensive end, which is one reason he stayed in the rotation despite the miserable offensive effort. He's a capable shot-blocker and has the quickness to stay in front of smaller players on switches, so if he would just stop punting away so many possessions on offense he'd be a halfway decent backup center.

That is Hollinger's take on him last year. Maybe you guys were right. I just get the feeling that the times I've ssen him he's been awful.
