Is it that big of a deal that her husband plays in Boston?  She'd be pretty close to New York anyhow.  What has she been doing while hubby has been in Phoenix, Orlando and Detroit?

They're certainly entitled to make a lifestyle decision, but I don't think she'd be losing out that much by being on Boston.

Who am I to say, I guess.

I'd love to see Hill here, but I don't have to go to bed with him at the end of day.

She really wants to be in New York.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I don't think she doesn't like Boston, but would prefer to be in New York because of her singing career.

Seeing how Hill has one or two years left in his career, and his wife can potentially sing for as long as she has her voice, I don't think it makes a lot of sense for them to choose NY over Boston.  One wonders why, if NYC is so important, the Hills haven't made an off-season home in NYC over the years.

That being said, it's a private decision.  People make career choices based upon a number of motivations, and I'll respect Hill's.

I don't know how much time she actually spends recording, schmoozing, performing etc...but it's only a 4 hour ride to New York from Boston.  She could spend that long stuck in traffic in New York!

Well, I'm sure she's supported his career all these years, so I suppose it's not entirely unreasonable that the shoe is on the other foot now.

Still, Boston and New York aren't that far apart, and if it's just for the one season, I see no reason why Grant can't play in Boston while she's in New York.

Why is everything about his wife?

It sounds like Grant Hill wants to be in NY too. Why are so many people making it out like his wife is the only reason he's considering going there?

There's also a huge difference in salary. And what about Doc and Hill's history? Did Hill like Doc as a coach?

I also think it's kind of sad that Hill has to even consider the Knicks, one of the worst teams in the league, so that his wife can pursue her imaginary singing career. Hill probably has one or two more years to make it happen.

Honestly, I'm sure Grant pays the bills in that household, and should put his foot down. Playing for it all is the dream of every good to great NBA player. She should respect that..

They got along well.  Hill had a lot of injury problems, but he apparently always had a good relationship with Doc.

It's not 1997, his wife has no career, let the man play for a real team.
