Giddens, with three eye-popping blocks on jump shooters to his credit, seemingly hasn’t missed in two days of practice....
Giddens hasn’t needed much time to set himself apart over the last two days. Both Ainge and Rivers have singled out the swingman’s ability to elevate his game this summer, and the situation only seems to be drawing out his best.

I know it's only summer league practice, but JR seems to be taking advantage of the opportunity.  I wouldn't be surprised to see him excel in the summer league games.  Now, as to whether that translates to next season, we shall see.

Good summer league means he can help sweeten the TA/Scali trade package.

Rondo and Giddens would make a fantastic FT shooting backcourt fwiw.

An awesome rebounding duo too. No sarcasm in this one though hehe.

TP For the update, I'm actually a closet Giddens fan, Im hopin he can stay out of of trouble and reach his potential.....though only if it's with us :)

However, after Kedrick Brown and Joe Forte, I take the NBA Summer league with a small small grain of salt.

I'm a big Giddens supporter (course I likes Kedrick Brown too).  I believe Giddens can be a valuable player on the C's for years to come.  I know I'm in the minority here, but was in the minority about Rondo as well.

i think its funny when people here say that Giddens sucks and that we should just drop him off... he hasn't even played.

its a cyclical argument, he must stink if he can't get minutes...but he can't get minutes because he must stink

I hope the best for him, and maybe he can bring what TA hasn't been able to...

He would be better served on a team that isn't competing for a championship.

JR has too many fans to fail. Failure is not an option. Lets go JR.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I'm more of a Walker guy but Giddens has definitely been the best player on the court in today's summer league game.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I bet if you asked 100 random bostonians who JR Giddens was, 1 would know...and they probably wouldn't be a fan
