 With our lack of veratile forwards who could guard & score. Could the Celtics sign Big Baby & Trade him to Toronto for Shawn Marion to give Marion more money that is around the 6mil. range? And secondly could they trade Scalabrine, Tony Allen, Giddens & a future 1st to a team who has cap space & free up that type of dollar to sign Marion at Mid level type money?

TOR has to renounce Marion in order to get under the cap to sign Turkoglu. With that they lose his rights and can only sign him for the MLE.

BOS used their MLE on Wallace, so they can`t sign Marion even if they trade some players to teams under the cap to shed salary. We would have to be under the cap to be able to sign Marion which can`t happen with our payroll close to 80 million...
