He put himself in an unenviable situation. He was fortunate the Celtics bailed him out and took a chance on him. He did not make the most of that chance, though he may have made just enough (somehow) to get himself a place in the league once more.
Hopefully, that place won't be in Boston.

Anyways, he simply tried to be "the good guy" too much. He needed a bit of Cassell.
I think part of the problem was that he lost a bit of confidence with not being in game shape, so he couldn't be as selfish as he wanted.
But overall, he had a positive impact on his image, so he should be satisfied with what he did. But his struggles had nothing to do with the Celtics system. In fact, some skills that might've been overlooked previously might now be something teams look at now... like his defense and passing. I was really impressed with his court vision, passing accuracy and his timing was very good.
I'm one of those that want to see him in Boston againt though.
